“Mahatma” Mohandas Gandhi

A quilt square stitched for the immortality of the soul’s goodness in right action.

Excerpts from a 3-page letter to the future President.

Mahatma Gandhi begins his message with a reference to:

“Kindness being the real/true Source in this world of global power.”

He continues, saying what global power is not!

“Global power is not found in a movement but in facing reality.

It is not antics.

It is not antiquity or powerful buildings that prove greatness to a nation.”

He wonders, with the President-elect, what has inspired him to seek the position of president, noting that it is unlikely to be money that motivates him. In seeking to understand his underlying drive to become president, he shares his own quest for the power to bring lasting peace and unity to his own country, and the great suffering and the isolation that accompanied his Quest.

“As one who spent years in jail cells and in courtrooms in earlier times, I know the stuff of fear. Fear of Persecution. Of Prosecution. And what is more, the sense of foreboding, a churning in the stomach. These last so fleetingly in the span of life.

In your position here, wanting to be a Great Leader, your true power will come not through gruffness or soft-spoken words uttered through clenched teeth in your desire to rule.”

Mr. Gandhi stresses that the messages from Spirit are not about denigrating what he has done or even intends to do in his sketched “plan” as leader, but are focused primarily on a journey in his “soul creation” that is not yet finished.

“If you feel, dear President-elect Trump, that I, in my words or actions in any way, is assassinating you, I beg you to reconsider my words and the whole band of others here who come to bring you inner peace—something you have not known for a long while. You are being and have been called to a ‘point of greatness’—but not in the way you imagined it.

Greatness will be far more subtle and laborious in its expanding of your flag—not in the surrender of its title and position, but in the acquisition of your soul’s role in the history of this nation and world. You are brought literally to your knees should you find any of these words penetrating the houses within your heart.

We stand, awaiting your response. We stand, awaiting the direction of your next steps as we serve you through our hearts of hope.

Be in peace with yourself, President-elect Trump. And know, with assurance, you are surrounded by fields of beings filled with many awaiting our particular ways to be in service to you as you walk forward.”
